O Fatback Band (posteriormente, apenas Fatback) é um grupo americano de funk e disco que foi popular nos anos 1970 e 1980. O Fatback Band é melhor conhecido por seus sucessos R&B: "(Do the) Spanish Hustle", "I Like Girls", "Gotta Get My Hands on Some (Money)", "Backstrokin'" e "I Found Lovin". O single de 1979 "King Tim III (Personality Jock)" é geralmente considerado como sendo o primeiro single comercial de hip hop[1].
