Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.

Stema oraşului Tăşnad, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat.

În partea superioară, în câmp roşu, se află Sfântul Arhanghel Mihail de argint.

În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află o fântână arteziană de argint.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Sfântul Arhanghel Mihail este o moştenire heraldică istorică, fiind sigiliul vechi al localităţii.

Fântâna arteziană simbolizează resursele naturale ale zonei, recunoscută pentru apele termale terapeutice.

Coroana murală cu trei turnuri crenelate semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de oraş.
