Essa é a lista de canções lançadas ou interpretadas oficialmente pela banda finlandesa de metal sinfônico Nightwish, fundada em 1996, na pequena cidade de Kitee, pelo tecladista e compositor Tuomas Holopainen, a formação atual ainda contava com a cantora Tarja Turunen e o guitarrista Emppu Vuorinen; atualmente o grupo tem cinco integrantes, sendo que Tarja e o primeiro baixista, Sami Vänskä, já não estão mais envolvidos.[1]
O Nightwish era popular na Finlândia desde o lançamento de seu primeiro álbum, Angels Fall First (1997), e ganhou fama na Europa com o álbum Oceanborn (1998). Contudo, foi com os álbuns Wishmaster e Century Child que adquiriu reconhecimento mundial.[2] O álbum de 2004, Once, foi um grande sucesso internacional, permitindo que o Nightwish realizasse várias turnês visitando dezenas de países ao redor do mundo. Em 21 de outubro de 2005, após o fim da Once Upon a Tour, Tarja foi oficialmente demitida da banda através de uma carta aberta para a imprensa;[3] após a demissão a banda ficou todo o ano de 2006 em pausa e em 24 de maio de 2007 a nova vocalista, Anette Olzon, foi finalmente anunciada;[4] a banda ainda lançou dois singles até finalmente lançar seu sexto álbum, Dark Passion Play, em 26 de setembro,[5] iniciando no mesmo mês a turnê promocional que durou até 19 de setembro de 2009; o sétimo álbum, Imaginaerum, foi lançado em 30 de novembro de 2011.[6] Anette deixou o grupo em 2012, após o lançamento do álbum Imaginaerum, e foi temporariamente substituída por Floor Jansen,[7] que acabou por ser efetivada no ano seguinte.[8]
Além das canções originais do grupo esse anexo também lista covers e regravações feitas pela banda além de outras canções relacionadas, sendo que a maioria das letras da banda são compostas pelo tecladista e líder do grupo, Tuomas Holopainen.
