== Etimilogia ==

Nos primórdio do ''[[hot rod|hot roding]]'', diversos manisfestações de moda e estilos foram surgindo, mas não tinham uma caracterização própria. Artistas como [[Kenny Howard]], construtores de carros customizados como [[Ed Roth]] e [[Dean Jeffries]]<ref>[http://www.autoartmagazine.com/ Revista Auto Art]</ref>, assim como adeptos do [[lowrider]], [[tatuagem|tatuadores]], pintores de autmoveis e [[moto clube]]s iniciaram o que se chama hoje de Kustom Kulture influenciando na época, a televisão, e outras mídias.
