- Please stop deleting references to The European Library - 'gateway to Europe's cultural and intellectual heritage'. It gives access to the combined resources of Europe's national libraries. It is a public service. The European digital library (encompassing libraries, museums, archives and other cultural institutions from across Europe) will be built upon it.
