Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Also, according to Chapter 10 Article 85 Paragraph 2,

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Scut împărțit în trei cartiere prin linii în formă de Y răsturnat; în cartierul din dreapta, în cîmp albastru, profilul argintiu al unei fabrici de prelucrarea lemnului; în cartierul din stînga, în cîmp argintiu, șapte brazi verzi; în cartierul inferior, în cîmp roșu, un butoi argintiu privit din față înconjurat de struguri aurii cu frunze verzi.

În partea centrală a stemei este așezat un scut mai mic avînd stema Republicii Socialiste România, pe un fond format în partea stîngă de steagul partidului, iar în dreapta de steagul țării.

Denumirea județului este înscrisă cu litere de aur pe o eșarfă roșie, în afara scutului și anume la baza acestuia.
