Phoenix Marie, nome artístico de Melissa Marie Hutchison, nascida e criada no sul da Califórnia em uma família de ascendência inglesa, alemã, italiana e escocesa. Começou sua carreira na indústria no final de 2006, aos 26 anos de idade.[1] Uma noite, tendo saído com seus amigos, a dona de uma boate em Los Angeles se aproximou dela, sendo parente de um agente de modelos local.
Ela fez sua estréia como atriz pornográfica em 2007 pela Vivid Studios, com o filme "Brand New Faces 2".[3]
Seus hobbies incluem ir à praia, jogar futebol, beisebol e hóquei, bem como o RPG World of Warcraft.[4]
Como atriz, ela já trabalhou para produções Brazzers, Evil Angel, Naughty America, Vivid, 3rd Degree, Jules Jordan Video, Elegant Angel, Devil's Films, Penthouse, Adam & Eve, AGW, BangBros, Wicked, Reality Kings e Girlfriends Films.
