A divisão '''Monilophyta''' é um clado ([[grupo monofilético]]) de [[plantas vasculares]] que compreende os fetos (antigos [[Pteridophyta]]) e as famílias [[Psilotaceae]] e [[Equisetaceae]]. A [[Divisão (biologia)|divisão]] é assim denominada porque um corte transversal do talo ("[[Estela (botânica)|estela]]") revela lóbulos de [[protoxilema]] que lembram um colar. O agrupamento foi proposto em 1997 por Paul Kenrick e Peter R. Crane<ref>[http://www.mnhnc.ul.pt/pls/portal/docs/1/335007.PDF Paul Kenrick & Peter R. ''Nature'' 389:33-49, 1997.]</ref> com o nome de "Infradivisão Moniloformopses", sendo actualmente preferida a designação de Monilophyta para o clado formado.
