Na lista de 2003 da ''[[Rolling Stone]]'' dos 500 melhores álbuns de todos os tempos, ''London Calling'' aparece em oitavo, a melhor colocação de uma banda punk. ''The Clash'' apareceu na 77<sup>a</sup> posição e ''Sandinista!'' na 404<sup>a</sup>.
