Em 1786 as divisões políticas da [[Nova Espanha]] foram estabelecidas em intendencias, portanto, as Províncias de Nova Galiza e [[Colima]] passaram a ser a [[Intendência de Guadalajara]] e a [[Província dos Zacatecas]] passou a ser a [[Intendência de Zacatecas]].
