English: The Galveston County Office of Emergency Management and the Houston-Galveston National Weather Service Building in League City, Texas - Specially constructed to withstand a Category 5 hurricane's wind and storm surge, this building jointly funded and built by Galveston County and the National Weather Service to house the Emergency Management Operations for Galveston County as well as the Houston-Galveston National Weather Service Forecast Office. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/hgx/ - http://www.gcoem.org/
