Frankie Carle
Francis Nunzio Carlone (Providence, 25 de março de 1903 – Mesa, 7 de março de 2001),[1][2] mais conhecido como Frankie Carle, foi um líder da banda, escritor, maestro, pianista e compositor estadunidense.

Como compositor, teve várias composições instrumentais como "Falling Leaves", "Roses in the Rain", "Lover's Lullaby", "Carle Boogie", "Sunrise Boogie", "Sunrise in Napoli", "Georgianna", "Blue Fantasy", "I Didn't Know", "The Golden Touch" e "The Apple Valley Waltz".
Foi um líder popular da banda nas décadas de 1940 e 1950. Trabalhou para diferentes bandas de dança. Carle deixou a orquestra de Heidt em 1944, formando o seu próprio grupo. Sua filha, Marjorie Hughes, era a vocalista. Carle tem vários hits nos anos 1940 e início dos anos 1950, incluindo a sua canção de autoria, "Sunrise Serenade" e "Oh! What It Seemed To Be!". Depois que sua banda se dissolveu em 1955, Frankie Carle tem seguido a carreira solo como pianista.[1] Em 1989, ele foi introduzido no Big Band e o Jazz Hall of Fame.[3] Além disso, ele foi premiado com uma estrela na Calçada da Fama de Hollywood, em 1951.
