P9 is a Brazilian pop boy band formed in Rio de Janeiro, RJ 2012. Its members are Igor Von Adamovich, Jonathan Couto, Guilherme dos Santos and Michael Band. The band is known for the song "My Favorite Girl" which is part of the soundtrack of the novel Salve Jorge on Globo TV.

Musical Career

Igor and Michael Ipanema beach goers formed a duo and with the help of English producer Jason Herbert they joined Jonathan and Guilherme. Considered one of the most frequented by locals and tourists from the beach, "Posto 9" served as the band's name . The band's first single, "My Favorite Girl" was released on March 11, 2013 and became known for being part of the soundtrack of the novel Salve Jorge. Save The song eponymous EP was released on iTunes Store on May 27, 2013 by Sony Music Entertainment. Containing four tracks, including "My Favorite Girl", two remixes made by the same Deeplick and the song "Love You In Those Jeans" . The music video for "My Favorite Girl" released on May 26, 2013 in 24 hours set a record views on Youtube this period. The debut album from boy band was recorded in the United States by American producer Venus Brown and will be attended by Carlinhos Brown. He went on pre-sale on iTunes on June 18, 2013.
