Yung Leans was born "Jonathan Aaron Leandoer Håstad" on July 18, 1996. He is a rapper from Södermalm , Stockholm , Sweden. His father is Kristoffer Leandoer, a Swedish author, translator and literary editor. Yung Lean's name was created from his real name 'LEANdoer', he said he picked that name, not only because it's part of his name, but also because Lean refers to a popular drug used by young kids and adults known as 'Sizzurp (lean)'. Yung Lean is a member of the rap group known as 'Sad Boys' and is currently signed to Teaholics label, which is owned by Issue. Yung Lean has released numerous videos on youtube with 'Kyoto', 'Ginseng Strip 2002', and 'hurt' being some of his most successful videos. Some of his influences include artists such as Big Lurch, Lil Boosie, Max B, Metro Zu, Lofty and Future among others. Yung Lean's songs often talk about drugs, having sex with harlots, and enjoying life.
