William Edward Phipps
William Edward Phipps (Indiana, 4 de fevereiro de 1922 – Santa Mônica, 1 de junho de 2018) foi um ator norte americano e produtor, talvez melhor conhecido por seus papéis em dezenas de clássicos de ficção científica e faroeste, tanto em filmes e na televisão.

Reforma e pós-carreira editar
Phipps', último filme foi em 2000, no filme independente Sórdido Vida, na qual ele também serviu como um dos produtores do filme. Em 2005, vários dos Phipps filmes foram objeto de um EIU (Eastern Illinois University) festival de cinema em sua honra. Ele recebeu um doutorado honorário da universidade no ano seguinte.[1]
Morte editar
Phipps morreu de câncer de pulmão em 1 junho de 2018, aos 96 anos de idade.[2]
