Deltentosteus quadrimaculatus é uma espécie de peixe da família Gobiidae e da ordem Perciformes.

Morfologia editar

Os machos podem atingir 8 cm de comprimento total.^[5]^[6]

Predadores editar

Em Espanha sofre predação por Ophichthus rufus^[7], Lepidorhombus boscii, Lepidorhombus whiffiagonis e Chelidonichthys lucernus, e em França por Zeus faber.^[8]^[9]

Habitat editar

É um peixe marítimo, de clima subtropical e demersal que vive até 333 m de profundidade.^[5]^[10]

Distribuição geográfica editar

É encontrado em: Argélia^[11], Gibraltar, Grécia^[12], Itália, o Líbano, Malta^[13], Eslovénia e Turquia^[14].^[15]^[16]^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20]^[21]^[22]^[23]^[24]^[25]^[26]^[27]^[28]^[29]^[30]

É inofensivo para os humanos.^[5]
