Segue abaixo uma lista das estrelas brilhantes mais próximas, que relaciona as estrelas encontradas dentro de um limite de até 15 parsecs (48.9 anos-luz) do Sol que apresentam uma magnitude absoluta de +8.5 ou mais (o que é comparável a uma lista das estrelas mais luminosas que uma anã vermelha da sequência principal). As coordenadas da ascensão reta e da declinação são do ano 2000. As medições de distância se baseiam mo Catálogo de Hiparco e outros dados astrométricos. No caso de uma binária espectroscópica, o tipo espectral e a magnitude absoluta combinados são listados em itálico.

Imagem do Telescópio Espacial Hubble de Sirius A e Sirius B. Sirius A, o objeto principal da imagem, é a estrela mais brilhante no céu noturno da Terra. Sirius B é a pequena anã branca no canto esquerdo inferior da imagem.

A lista é ordenada de acordo com uma distância crescente.
