Nelson Riddle
Nelson Smock Riddle, Jr. (Oradell, 1 de junho de 1921 – Los Angeles, 6 de outubro de 1985) foi um arranjador, compositor, líder de banda e orquestrador americano cuja carreira se estendeu do final dos anos 1940 até meados dos anos 1980. Ele trabalhou com muitos vocalistas mundialmente famosos incluindo Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee, Johnny Mathis, Rosemary Clooney e Keely Smith. Ele marcou e arranjou músicas para muitos filmes e programas de televisão, ganhando um Prêmio da Academia e três prêmios Grammy. Ele obteve sucesso comercial e de crítica com uma nova geração na década de 1980, em um trio de álbuns Platinum com Linda Ronstadt.[1]
