Tabelas de confrontos (1out2017)

Olá pessoal, há alguns dias, tenho mediado uma disputa entre o Interpires01 e o Sb008 (podem ver aqui) que estão "decidindo" o formato das tabelas de confrontos em artigos de campeonatos de futebol, porém minha PDU virou Alepo e ninguém decidiu nada, e como não posso vir e decidir algo do nada, e para evitar que isso se espalhe para outras páginas (apesar de já ser tarde), vim aqui para decidir o formato. O Interpires01 defende que a tabela não deve der links nem a data para jogos futuros (exemplo), já o Sb008 defende o contrário (exemplo). Há vários exemplos de tabelas com links, apontados pelo próprio Sb008, como Premier League de 2017–18. Não li nenhuma boa razão para não tê-los, nem porque a do Brasileirão deva ser o padrão para todas. A favor de links. Neutro nas datas. Há, ainda, a diferença no preenchimento da linha diagonal da tabela: Interpires01 (travessão) e Sb008 (cinza escuro). --Caiomarinho (discussão) 14h22min de 2 de outubro de 2017 (UTC)

Comentário A padronização adequada para a tabela de confrontos é a maneira utilizada em Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol de 2017 - Série A. Deve ter ligações internas, mas não deve ter excesso de datas porque não é garantido que tal jogo será realizado nesta data (acontecimentos futuros podem atrapalhar tal evento como chuva forte, adiamento por motivos da própria organizadora ou até mesmo uma consequência). Sou favorável que os jogos da próxima rodada sejam enfatizados na tabela, como já vemos no artigo do Brasileirão, por exemplo (R-17 em todos até o término desta rodada, aí atualiza a próxima para R-18, e assim até o fim). * On the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol de 2017 - Série A page there are 12 tables. In 11 tables the team name is a link. Only in 1 table, the Confrontos table, the team name is simple text. On the Eredivisie de 2017–18 page there are 10 tables. Again, in 9 tables the team name is a link. Only in 1 table, the Confrontos table, the team name is simple text. Can someone give me a logical reason why the Confrontos table should be an exception? Because we do it like this on the pages for the Brazilian league doesn't sound as a very logical reason to me. It seems inconsequent to me!!! So pretty clear what I vote for.

* The diagonal. What is visually more clear, grey boxes (    ) or mdashes (—)? And again, why is the Brazilian league the standard and not the English or Italian league. Why should we have a Brazilian standard for European leagues? I'm open for discussion, but again, because we do it like this on the pages for the Brazilian league doesn't sound as a very logical reason to me.

* The dates in the table. I'm open for the suggestion of Mr. Fulano to change, in the date format, the dot (.) into a forward slash (/). The argument of changing dates because of rain or whatever reason doesn't sound very valid to me. If dates change, it is almost always the dates of the games in the nearest future. So how does it matter if you have the dates of all future games in the table or only those of next week. In both cases you most likely have to make edits to the same dates. Furthermore, it takes far more work to add dates every week than just all of them at once. And if you generate the tables, as I do, and not change them manually, it doesn't matter at all if dates change. The new date will be there automatically on the next update.

There are 2 more things I would like to address.

Why is in the "Classificação" table, and several other places, the province flag in front of the team name? In the FIFA world cup, teams represent a country. So using a country flag in front of the team seems appropriate. However in the Dutch league, teams do not compete as a representative of their province. So why is the province flag there. If you absolutely want to put something in front of the team, the club logo seems more appropriate to me. After all the teams represent their club.

The discussion of what the table should look has become of second importance to me. What upsets me more, is the way some people here feel the need to force their opinion on others. The tables I created got altered over and over. When I tried to discuss the matter I got no reply. Only after I started to undo, what I considered as damage to my tables and when Mr. Fulano interfered, I got a reply. The only arguments I got were; this is THE standard and I'm not accustomed to edit on pt-wiki. There are almost as many standards as leagues. So why is the personal standard of one person a reason to damage the work of others? I edit on wiki's in 7 other languages (en, nl, it, es, de, ru, uk), so why shouldn't I be able to do so on the pt-wiki? And worst of all, while we are having this debate my tables are still altered.

Is pt-wiki about forcing your standard on others and refusing to discuss it? Is there a difference on pt-wiki between ordinary editors and editors who think they are god?

Quanto as bandeiras antes dos nomes dos clubes é assim no Campeonato Brasileiro e em vários torneios do Brasil, cada equipe tem a bandeira do estado antes do nome na classificação.--Interpires01 (discussão) 20h17min de 3 de outubro de 2017 (UTC)

This is the Dutch league and not the Brazilian league. Brazil is not the world standard. The use of province flags for Dutch teams adds no valid information. Contrary it is inappropriate. You might want to read WP:Livro de estilo/Ícones --Sb008 (discussão) 23h07min de 3 de outubro de 2017 (UTC)

Um bom exemplo é que, por estarmos na wikipédia em português, o padrão é escrever em português, mas o usuário insiste em mandar mensagens a usuários mandando-os não usar o nome "Holanda" por que é ofensivo e errado... João Henrique (Mensagens)  16h57min de 6 de outubro de 2017 (UTC)

@Igor G.Monteiro: Do you also say "A Primeira Liga é a liga de futebol de maior escalão de Algarve" instead of "A Primeira Liga é a liga de futebol de maior escalão de Portugal"? Maybe this page (not written by me) Holanda (região) will make you understand why it's not correct and offending to many Dutch.
